Wishing everybody a happy new year and hope you all have a successful and healthy 2026 ! From the whole team at the Annandale Arms, we would like to thank all our supporters and guests over the past year . It was great celebrating Hogmanay with so many of you. And we are really touched to have so many book again already for next year. Included are a few pics from the New Years Eve and of our team night. We took all our team out for dinner , drinks, quizzes and Karaoke to thank them for all their hard work this year. We have already had many people rebook for next years Xmas party and Hogmanay event. Full details ….once finalised will be advertised later in the year.As January is now firmly upon us and as we know Moffat goes quieter, we are giving the team a well earned break and will close from Sunday 4th January, reopening February 5th. This will likely be our model moving forward each year with slower trade through January, whilst bills continue to rise ! This is becoming much more common across the industry now. We are however, still hosting a private event in January and another as we open on 7th February . If anybody is looking for an event space through January, we are still taking bookings for this, so please do get in touch. Our phone line will still be answered. Rob and I will be back in the decorating gear as we continue to work on upgrading the building……there are still some spaces that resemble a building site that we hope to make more part of the daily runnings of the hotel.
