Who we are
The Annandale Arms Hotel, High Street, Moffat DG10 9HF, is run by Moffat Hotel Group Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (number SC801524) at Limetree House, Eastgate, Moffat DG10 9AE. We are responsible for the personal details you give us through this website.
For anything about your details, email reception@annandalearmshotel.co.uk or ring 01683 220013.
What we collect
When you send us a message. The form on this website asks for your name, your email address and your message, and optionally your phone number and the dates you have in mind. We use them to answer your enquiry, and for a booking or event, to arrange it with you. The legal basis is that you asked us to get back to you.
When you book a room. Our "Book a room" buttons take you to our booking system, run for us by SiteMinder. The details you enter there come to us so we can look after your stay. SiteMinder's booking pages have their own privacy and cookie notice, which you will see there.
When you visit. Like every website, our web host's servers record basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and browser, to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to identify you.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies, and it does not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. Our fonts and pictures are served from our own website, not from Google or anyone else. That is why you do not see a cookie banner here.
Who else handles your details
We do not sell or share your details. A few companies handle them on our behalf, only to do the job we use them for:
Web3Forms, which passes the messages from our enquiry form to our email.
Our email provider, where your message is stored once it arrives.
SiteMinder, which runs our online booking.
Hostinger, which hosts this website.
How long we keep it
Messages from the form on this website are kept in a password-protected mailbox while we deal with your enquiry or your stay, and deleted two years after we last hear from you.
When you stay with us, we keep the records the law requires a hotel to keep, such as the guest register and our accounts, for as long as the law requires and no longer.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Email or ring us and we will deal with it within a month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, although we would like the chance to put it right first.
