Moffat and around

Hills, dark skies and a waterfall.

Moffat is a Dark Sky Town, so on a clear night the stars are out over the High Street. The Grey Mare's Tail, the fifth highest waterfall in the UK, is a short drive up the valley, and the hills start where the town stops.

Plenty of our guests are breaking the journey north or south. Plenty more come up from Glasgow and Edinburgh for a weekend in the country.
