Music Sessions
Thursday night, from 8.30 pm to midnight, is music night in the bar at the Annandale. An informal group of local people gather in the hotel bar to play acoustic music and to sing. All are welcome to listen or come and join in. It is free. Musical styles vary from from traditional Scottish, through to the blues to modern popular. The line-up changes every week but we have guitarists, fiddlers, mandolin players. Moffat Rammy (Cancelled 2020)
Once a year on the first weekend of April, Moffat hosts the”Moffat Rammy”. This is a weekend of informal acoustic music sessions held in the bars and hotels around the town. If you play anything do come along and join in, if do not play come and listen.Fraser Speirs playing at the 2017 Rammy
